First Presbyterian Church of Huron charters a Cub Scout Pack and a Scout BSA Troop (formerly known as Boy Scouts) through the Boy Scouts of America. Our facility is also open to other Scout and Youth organizations.
The Cub Scout Pack (Pack #31) is for boys and girls in kindergarten through fifth grades, or 5 to 10 years of age. Any youth interested can join at anytime, please come check out our meetings on Mondays at 7 pm at the First Presbyterian Church. The Scout BSA Troop (Troop #31) is for boys who are 11 through 17 years of age, or have earned the Cub Scouting Arrow of Light award and are at least 10 years old, or have completed the fifth grade and are at least 10 years old. The troop meets every Monday (except school holidays) at 7 pm in the Fellowship Hall. The boy troop camps one weekend a month and a attend a week long summer camp. Experienced scouts may also take part in a week-long, high adventure trek, usually in July. Please email HuronBSATroop31@gmail.com for more information.
