My name is Chris-Ann Hakeman.  You could say that I am the co-founder of Christ’s Community Meal. Actually, Our Heavenly Father is the founder.  He just worked through me to accomplish this dream.

Christ’s Community Meal was started in November, 2009. It is a free meal offered the second and fourth Wednesday of each month. Our Mission Statement is to provide nutritious meals in the atmosphere of love, fellowship, and acceptance.

Our success is due to the generosity from area churches, several grants, different organizations and personal contributions. Also, there is a team of over thirty-five volunteers that give of their time and talents by working in the kitchen, clean-up, serving, baking, dining room set-up, deliveries and many other facets of the dinners.

God’s Blessings,

Chris
